Nate 'n Al of Beverly Hills : ウィキペディア英語版 | Nate 'n Al of Beverly Hills
Nate 'n Al of Beverly Hills (spelling as officially used by the deli) is a famous delicatessen located on Beverly Drive in the Rodeo Drive shopping area of Beverly Hills, California. It has been a significant part of Beverly Hills and Hollywood culture since the 1950s, often serving as an informal office and meeting place for show business personalities, agents and executives, as well as wannabes hoping to break into "the business". In this regard, Nate 'n Al is similar to other well-known Hollywood and Beverly Hills restaurants such as Dan Tana, Spago and Canter's Deli. ==History== Nate 'n Al opened on Beverly Drive in 1945. The founders were Al Mendelson (a Russian native who moved to California from Detroit) and Nate Reimer, also from Detroit. Nate 'n Al's Delicatessen is mentioned in the March 1969 episode of "Get Smart", season 4 called "The Not-so-great-escape", a two-part episode.
